These otherworldly Humanoid Sentivars feel deeply, they embody human emotions and philosophy and are acutely aware of life’s nuances and energies. To this end they are examples of anthropomorphism in that Donovan seeks to interpret nonhuman entities in terms of human characteristics. Arguably this is a deeply rooted human impulse, found across cultures and eras, that serves to make the unfamiliar comprehensible and relatable. Through this personification Donovan is aiming for abstract concepts like emotion, knowledge, or the human condition to be visualized andemotionally accessed by you the viewer. In other words they are meant to both reflect and explain one’s inner lives whilst also being both shaped by and shaping their environments.
